How To Produce Parking Bollards?
There are two types of JACKWIN parking bollards: metal and plastic. Their production processes are different. Metal parking bollards are made by metal processing technology—gas-shielded welding technology. Plastic parking-bollards are made by injection molding using plastic molding technology. To produce the bollard, we first need to use a stamping or laser cutting machine to cut the steel pipes, punch holes, and create slots, among other processes.
The stamped metal parts are welded under the protection of carbon dioxide gas, which is mainly used to prevent the metal from oxidizing under high-temperature conditions.
PVC or PU plastic particles are heated, melted, and fed into the injection molding machine mold. According to the plastic molding principle, the plastic material is produced into the necessary bollards. The whole process takes 2 minutes to create a bollard.
We place the hot bollards that have just come out of the mold cavity upright, not lying flat. This prevents them from bending and deforming before they can harden and form. We can conduct quality inspection and packaging after the bollards have cooled and hardened.
