Installing U Posts

Tools recommended: U posts, welded wire, rubber mallet, flathead screwdriver
- Before installation, check for underground pipes or wires to avoid damage during installation.
- The chosen U-posts should be at least one foot taller than your fence.
- Use a rubber mallet to drive the U-posts into the ground, ensuring the anchor plate is below the dirt. The tabs of the U-posts should all face outward from the perimeter area.
- Install a post every 5-7 feet, ensuring even spacing between posts.
- Attach the welded wire mesh to the tabs of the U-posts. If necessary, you can slightly bend the tabs outwards using a flathead screwdriver.
- Bend the cut ends over to reduce the risk of scratches.
