- Determine the installation positions for the guide rails on both sides of the doorway, and use a level to ensure they are vertical relative to the floor. Mark the hole locations on the rails and secure them to the wall using anchor bolts.
- Slide the door flood barrier sections into the guide rails one by one from the top, ensuring they fit snugly against the threshold.
- Tighten the locking screws, star knobs or cam locks to ensure the sealing strip on the baffle is fully compressed against the guide rail.
- Check for gaps around the barrier and conduct a watertightness test. If leakage is detected, readjust the barrier and press it firmly into place.
