- Manufacturing Process
- Cutting and Forming: At our factory, we use laser cutting machines to cut high-precision metal sheets (304/316L), which are then bent into the desired reinforced structures with CNC press brakes.
- Welding and Grinding: We use laser welding machines and grinding machines to ensure structural strength and weld integrity.
- Precision Machining: We use CNC machining centers to machine precision components such as hinges, cylinder connectors, and more.
- Surface Treatment: Using a spray coating production line and anodizing tanks, we apply a protective coating to the surfaces of our flood barriers that provides corrosion resistance, rust prevention, and slip resistance.
- Testing: Our factory is equipped with a hydrostatic test stand and a leak tester. Our staff uses them to conduct final tests on seal integrity and structural strength under simulated flood pressure conditions.
Permanent Flood Protection
JACKWIN provides permanent flood protection solutions, including flip-up flood barriers, pop-up flood barriers, and self-closing flood barriers.
Always in Place
Our barriers are permanently embedded in the building or ground structure. The base is cast into the driveway or entrance; when not in use, the barrier lies completely flush with the ground, causing no obstruction to traffic.
Passive and Fail-Safe
Whether or not there is manual or electrical power, the system can be activated to protect property.
Durable and Long-Lasting Materials
We use high-strength stainless steel, aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, and corrosion-resistant EPDM rubber seals. They provide long-term resistance to corrosion and aging and can withstand thousands of lifting cycles, with a service life of up to 50 years.
Automatic Flip up Flood Barrier
Pneumatic flip-up flood barrier
When our valves are automatically triggered by sensors, they are pushed upward to form a leak-proof seal. The buzzers and warning lights installed nearby can be used to alert employees to relocate important items in the room. Alternatively, you can manually trigger it using a button, which generates powerful thrust through a pneumatic cylinder, causing the valve to pop open.
Hydrodynamic Flip-Up Flood Barrier
As water levels rise, the pressure activates the floating wall, and springs close the gates to form a completely sealed barrier. Our barrier is entirely free from the need for manual operation. It is relatively low-cost, which is suitable for use in underground parking garages, residential buildings, and other applications.

Integrated Drainage and Pumping Connections
Our drainage system helps flip-up flood barriers resolve water accumulation issues inside the base, thereby extending their service life and reducing maintenance costs.
Integrated Drainage
Integrated drainage is a drainage pipe system primarily installed at the bottom of the underground foundation of a retaining wall. When water flows through the foundation and collects in the sump, it flows downward through the drainage pipes by gravity. Thereby, the check valve opens and discharges into the municipal sewer system. The purpose of this system is to drain the foundation and prevent internal silt buildup.
Pumping Connections
When the integrated drainage system becomes overwhelmed, the liquid level sensor detects the situation and automatically activates the submersible pump. Our pumping connection system harnesses the powerful force generated by the pump to remove the standing water and discharge it into an external forced drainage pipe. Finally, the water pressure opens the check valve, allowing the water to flow to a safe area.
Pop-up Flood Barrier
JACKWIN pop-up flood barriers form a vertical wall to withstand flooding by rising vertically from pre-installed underground channels.
- Internal Structure: Provides comprehensive protection through an embedded base, a water-barrier panel, a drive and transmission mechanism, and a control system.
- Installation Requirements: Unlike flip-up flood barriers, which are installed on shallow ground, our barriers require you to dig a deep underground excavation. This barrier model has high requirements for civil engineering work and requires the underground space to be large enough to accommodate the entire lifting process.
- Application: Our pop-up flood barriers are primarily used in subways, tunnels, or large-scale municipal projects.

Custom Your Flip up Flood Barrier
Preliminary Study: You need to conduct a risk assessment based on historical high-water levels to determine the required water-retention height. If the structure is to support heavy-duty vehicles, the material strength and compressive strength rating must be increased.
On-site Measurement and Survey: You need to accurately measure the width of the doorway or driveway where the flood barriers will be installed. You should also check for underground utilities and confirm the maximum allowable excavation depth.
Design and Confirmation: Based on the measurement data, we will provide CAD installation drawings. You will need to carefully verify the dimensions, installation locations, and drive methods.
