Full Body Harness Wearing Steps
Step 1: Upon receiving the full body harness, first inspect the webbing, stitching, and D-rings for signs of wear, fraying, loosening, or damage.
Step 2: Grasp the D-ring on the shoulder strap and shake it vertically until the shoulder strap reaches the correct position.
Step 3: Adjust the buckle to ensure the shoulder straps are sufficiently tensioned. At the same time, make sure the shoulder straps are positioned correctly—directly between the shoulder blades at the center of your back.
Step 4: Connect the chest strap to the leg straps, then attach it to the chest buckle. Adjust the shoulder straps to ensure a snug fit against the body.

Full Body Harness vs Safety Belt

JACKWN full body harness is positioned across the chest, shoulders, back, waist, and thighs, distributing force to minimize bodily injury.
Advantages
- Quickly identify workers’ locations for rescue operations
- Multi-point protection enhances harness safety
Disadvantages
- Costs more than a safety belt
- Cumbersome to wear
JACKWIN safety belt is designed to concentrate the load solely on the waist. In the event of a fall, the uneven distribution of gravitational force may result in severe injury.
Advantages
- Simple and quick to put on
- Low cost, less expensive than a full body harness
Disadvantages
It cannot serve as the primary fall arrest system and should only be used for positioning or restricting movement.
Application
The JACKWIN full body harness offers extensive applicability, meeting the demands of scenarios including construction industry, roofing operations, power and utility maintenance, industrial equipment maintenance, telecommunications Maintenance, bridge maintenance, and more.

How to Select a Full Body Harness?
Testimonials
- Harnesses that have been involved in a fall must be replaced.
- Harnesses must be replaced if they exhibit visible signs of wear and tear, such as cuts, broken stitching, or deformed D-rings.
- Exceeded service life
- Unidentifiable production date and brand.
- webbing: Inspect for tears, damage, frayed edges, or chemical corrosion.
- stitching: Inspect the sutures for breakage, loosening, or wear.

Our harness requires inspection every 3 to 6 months and must also be checked before each use.
JACKWIN full body harness arrest system is a comprehensive solution for multiple hazardous work scenarios. In the event of a fall, our harness works in conjunction with the lanyard to arrest the descent and reduce impact force.
- Class I body belts: For use at the waist only, primarily to restrict workers from reaching hazardous areas and to secure their position.
- Class II seat harness: Add a seat beneath the body to enhance lumbar and leg support, ensuring extended rescue duration.
- Class III full body harness: There are 5, 6, and 7-point styles available.
- Class IV suspension belts: For use in situations involving long-term suspended operations.
- The most important thing is to connect the body to the structure or tower crane, ensuring balance and the stability of the anchor point’s movement.
- Avoid disconnecting without protection.
- Enhance work efficiency and reduce working hours.
- Use with a shock absorber to minimize impact force.
6 ft. fits most full-body fall arrest harnesses. In accordance with ANSI Z359 fall protection standards and EN 361:2002 full body harness standard, the lanyard length accounts for the fall clearance distance to ensure the fall arrest system does not contact the ground upon arrest.
You need to determine the size based on your bust, waist, thigh circumference, height, and weight. We will provide a size chart for your reference.
