High-brightness LED Lamp Beads
Low-power LED lamp beads: Arranged in a high-density matrix, they emit light in a dot-matrix pattern, enhancing the luminous performance of our lights. We use chips manufactured in Taiwan that, compared to standard chips, make vehicles clearly visible from a distance and reduce the likelihood of misidentification.
High-power lamp beads: Each of our high-power lamp beads features a focusing lens and an optical control structure on its surface; with a minimal number of beads in the array, the light penetrates more effectively.
Tunnel light lamp beads: Each of our LED chips uses 3030 SMD chips, which allow for adjustable beam angles and improved light uniformity. Additionally, they feature a heat sink on the back, enabling higher LED power output. This light is primarily used in engineering projects and supports modular design.

Automatic Control Workflow
JACKWIN portable traffic signals can be programmed to control traffic automatically according to a predefined sequence, without manual operation.
- System Startup: When the power button is pressed, our signals automatically power up the system and start the controller. Key parameters, including the status of the LED array, GPS/RF modules, and battery level, can all be monitored.
- Signal Synchronization: Our signals are synchronized via RF/GPS, effectively preventing two-way green light conflicts and establishing a unified time reference.
- Automated Signal Cycle: Our signals implement adaptive control of traffic flow and direction based on road conditions, including single-lane, two-lane, and intersection scenarios. As vehicles approach, they are detected by radar and cameras, and right-of-way is dynamically assigned.
- Real-time Monitoring: Our signals collect real-time data across four dimensions: power supply, communications, signal light status, controllers, and environmental monitoring.
- Fail-safe Control: In the event of an unexpected anomaly, our signals will automatically switch to all-red mode, flash yellow, or initiate a safe shutdown. This alerts the driver to pay attention to road conditions and the status of surrounding vehicles.
If the information above has helped you understand our signals, please contact us immediately.
Premier Smart Energy System
JACKWIN portable traffic signals are equipped with a customized smart energy system to ensure reliable operation in urban, remote, and rural areas. In the event of sudden extreme weather or a municipal power outage, our signals can maintain traffic flow through integrated management and intelligent dimming control.
- Auto Dimming: Our signals automatically adjust their brightness based on environmental conditions and traffic volume. By maintaining high brightness during the day and switching to a low-power mode at night, we can reduce our signal’s energy consumption by 40%.
- Dynamic Power Management: In the event of three consecutive days of heavy rain, no vehicles on the road late at night, or a deteriorating battery, our signals will automatically turn off the countdown display, assess the battery’s health, and extend the replacement cycle.
- Solar Integration: Our solar charging system consists of a PV generation unit, an energy storage buffer, a smart charge/discharge controller, and electrical integration. Our signals are plug-and-play, require no mains power, incur no electricity costs, and have low maintenance costs.

Trailer-Mounted Portable Traffic Signal
JACKWIN trailer-mounted temporary traffic signals use a combination of retractable barriers and traffic lights, mounted on a trailer, to manage traffic flow.
- Traffic Barrier Arm: When the green light flashes, the barrier rises to indicate that vehicles may proceed. When the yellow light flashes, the barrier is about to lower, signaling that vehicles should slow down. When the red light flashes, the barrier lowers, requiring vehicles to stop.
- Stop Sign: Our signal directs the warning sign toward the vehicle, indicating where to stop and enhancing its warning effect.
- Trailer Stability System: Thanks to a sturdy four-legged base combined with swivel casters, our signals ensure overall stability while allowing for easy maneuverability on uneven and steep slopes, making transportation more convenient.
Our signals serve a dual purpose of controlling and guiding vehicles through three processes: visual alerts, signal control, and physical barriers.
Why Choose JACKWIN Portable Traffic Signals?

Tripod Traffic Lights vs. Portable Traffic Signals

JACKWIN tripod traffic lights are typically used for temporary traffic control, at accident scenes, and for parking lot management, making them the top choice for light-duty applications.
Advantages
- The tripod folds down to a compact size, making it easy to transport.
- Weighing 5 kg, it can be set up in seconds, operated by a single person, and does not obstruct traffic lanes.
- It is affordably priced and has low maintenance costs.
Disadvantages
- It has poor wind resistance, so the base requires sandbags or similar weights.
- It has a relatively short viewing range and is suitable for low-speed, close-range scenarios.
- Battery life is moderate, typically lasting 10–20 hours.
JACKWIN portable traffic signals are available in three configurations—trailer-mounted, push-type, and pole-mounted—and can serve as a replacement for fixed traffic lights.
Advantages
- Large battery capacity; can be charged via a power source or solar power, with long battery life.
- Heavy base for excellent stability.
- Adjustable LED light height; visible up to 1000 meters.
Disadvantages
- Higher price.
- Heavier weight; requires several people to move or a vehicle to transport.
Portable Traffic Lights vs. Fixed Traffic Lights

JACKWIN portable traffic lights feature a self-powered solar charging system and can be controlled wirelessly from a distance, offering ample flexibility. However, compared to fixed traffic lights, while they have lower initial costs and are easier to install, they are more prone to theft or damage.
JACKWIN fixed traffic lights are a key component of the local municipal government’s road construction bidding projects and must strictly meet the award criteria. Because they are connected to the power grid, our fixed lights have an unlimited power supply. In contrast, installation and piping require several months of labor and incur high costs.
If you are a bidder on a municipal project and need to install permanent traffic lights in areas with heavy traffic, you can choose our fixed traffic lights.
If you are a road contractor, site manager, or similar, and need to use traffic lights flexibly based on the progress of your construction project, we recommend choosing portable traffic lights.
Applications & Use Cases
JACKWIN portable traffic signals can be adapted to various environments to manage traffic flow, including crossroads, pedestrian crossings, construction sites, and mountain roads.

JACKWIN portable traffic signals are widely used at rural crossroads, helping to avoid high costs and energy waste.

Our traffic signals can be configured with preset interval protection and time-based custom control modes, switching between modes during morning rush hour and off-peak periods to ensure optimal road utilization.

Our traffic signals manage sudden surges in pedestrian traffic that occur approximately 30 minutes before and after school by activating a tidal traffic light mode as needed, with scheduled start and stop times to regulate traffic flow during specific time periods.

JACKWIN temporary traffic signals can be dynamically relocated as construction zones change. They are plug-and-play and can be deployed quickly.

Our signals can utilize radar-activated strobe lights on uphill and downhill sections, sharp curves, high-altitude mountain passes, and areas prone to dense fog, and remain operational thanks to their independent power supply.

A customer from French Polynesia found information about traffic signal products through our official website. The purchasing manager required four portable traffic signals with countdown timers that could be manually controlled remotely. After several rounds of negotiations, price comparisons, and factory and warehouse tours, we fully demonstrated our production processes and technology, extensive export experience, and quality management system.
Before the factory began mass production, the engineering team worked with the client to finalize the detailed specifications for the traffic signal, including diameter, battery life, and remote control range. After thorough verification with the client, the production drawings were finalized. The LED traffic light has a diameter of 21 cm, features an automatically solar-charged battery with a 5-day battery life, and comes with a remote control capable of simultaneously controlling two units.

This is our laser cutting workshop. At our factory, we feed high-strength steel plates into high-precision laser cutters to cut them into housing, base, and support rod components.

This is our welding workshop. We use robots to ensure uniform welds and minimize errors, after configuring the program for automated operation.

This is our powder coating workshop. We apply electrostatic powder coating to the welded metal components to provide rust and corrosion protection. We offer safety yellow or traffic yellow, ensuring the visibility of traffic signals.

This is our assembly workshop. We mount high-brightness LED chips onto a PCB board and install high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar panels on top of the lamp housing.

Our factory strictly adheres to international logistics standards and uses multi-layer cushioning packaging for the signals we produce. The inner layer is wrapped in bubble wrap, the middle layer is secured with foam inserts, and the outer layer consists of custom wooden crates to provide cushioning and protection. Before shipping from the factory, we label the packaging clearly and confirm the customs clearance documents with the freight forwarder.
The customer opted for EXW terms and arranged for a designated freight forwarder to take full responsibility for picking up the goods, export customs clearance, and the entire shipping process. We notified the freight forwarder in advance and arranged for a trailer to pick up the goods. The signals will ultimately be shipped to a port in Tahiti, where the customer will be responsible for clearing customs and arranging for pickup and delivery.
Upon receipt of the shipment, the customer inspected the product and confirmed that the main unit of the signals and all accessories were in good condition. The base and support pole were assembled, and the solar panel and awning were installed. After wiring and commissioning, the traffic signals we manufacture are deployed on the two-way lanes of the project site to implement temporary traffic control.
Based on customer feedback, the signals we manufactured perfectly met their requirements in terms of solar panel battery life, remote control range, and portability. At the same time, our signals address issues such as wiring, high labor costs for manual traffic control, and safety concerns during nighttime construction, cutting deployment time in half and reducing labor costs by nearly 40%.
