Solar Warning Light Material and Production
JACKWIN solar warning lights, referred to barricade lights, are made of virgin plastic materials, ABS or PP for the shell and PC or PS for the retroreflective lens, by injection manufacturing process. The core parts of the solar warning light are the circuit board and the solar panel. After completing the plastic shell of the lights, we assemble the circuit board, solar panel, and shell and perform functional tests and quality inspections.

Solar Warning Light Sensor Switch: Photocell
All JACKWIN solar warning lights use electronic components – photocell as control switches. Since solar warning lights are used outdoors, automatic control through light-controlled switches is the best way to save energy and be convenient. During the day, when the photoresistor encounters light, the circuit is disconnected, and the light does not work; at night, the switch is automatically turned on.
Working principle of Photocell
A photocell, also known as a photoresistor or light-dependent resistor (LDR), is a photoelectric tube made of photosensitive materials. Its working principle is that when the tube shines on the photoelectric tube, electrons will move freely inside the material to achieve the purpose of reducing resistance.

Solar warning lights JACKWIN manufactured have several mounting methods for you to choose from to suit different installation methods and scene requirements. Below, we list them and make a simple analysis for you.
- Screw mount, this is one of the most secure mounting methods. The bottom of the solar warning lights usually has 3 mounting screw holes, which are fixed together with the object to be mounted through screws.
- Magnet mount, this is the most convenient and quickest mounting method, but it is limited to iron and the surface is flat, and it is not anti-theft. It usually has holes at the bottom to cooperate with the screw fixture.
- Metal bracket/fitting mount, this is a metal fitting designed with different shapes, fixed to the bottom or back of the solar warning light, and the lights are installed on the target through metal fittings. It has many types and different shapes.
- Handle/holder mount, some solar warning lights have a handle shape at the bottom for special installation scenarios, such as lights with handles that can be inserted into traffic cones and water-filled barricades.
