Traffic Cone Basics

Flow Molded Cones VS Injection Molded Cones
Flow molded cones are produced in one complete piece by PVC material. It’s lightweight and more softer and flexible than injection molded cones. It’s more easy to carry and stackable. Flow molded cones can not rebound quickly as the injection molded cones.
Injection molded cones are more thick, flexible and endure any weather conditions. Their weight is heavier than flow molded cones, so it can resist harsh high impact and rebound quickly. Injection molded cones were made of recycled material, so it’s more economical than flow molded cones.

Our Production Capacity
Traffic cones are made of different materials, including PVC, PE and rubber.
PVC traffic cones are produced by injection molding and dipping. Our injection molding production line has 10 equipment dedicated to the production of traffic cones and a dipping machine for the production of flow molded traffic cones.
PE traffic cones are produced by blow molding, and the rubber base is produced by rubber molding.
One-piece rubber traffic cones are produced by three production processes: vulcanization, molding and molding.
The production process of PVC traffic cones use injection molding. Firstly, PVC pellets are injected into the barrel and heated to melt into a fluid state. Then, they are injected into a closed mold under pressure. After a certain period of cooling and shaping, open the mold and a PVC traffic cone is produced.
The production of PE road cones adopts the principle of blow molding. First, the PE particles are heated and melted, and then formed into a cylindrical embryo through a cylindrical hollow device. Then, into the split mold and embryo is tightly attached to the mold inner wall and shaping. After cooling, open the mold, and the PE cone body is finished.
