JACKWIN whiteness measurement instrument is reliable and versatile for its high-precision results and easy operations.
How to Operate JACKWIN Whiteness Meter?
- Turn on the power of our instrument.
- Place JACKWIN instrument on the standard black calibration block, then turn the button until the screen displays a value of 0.
- Place the tester on the white calibration block and calibrate JACKWIN white meter to the required value(commonly written on the block).
- Place the instrument vertically on the object to be measured to obtain the value.
Applications
JACKWIN high accuracy whiteness meter is widely used to measure the whiteness of road safety products, such as road markings, white traffic signs, road barriers, bollards and water-filled barriers.
A whiteness meter is used to test the whiteness of flat surfaces or powers, such as road markings, traffic signs, white reflective tapes, papers, towel, powers, ceramic, plastic and other substances.
Our instrument emits white light to the testing surfaces(such as paper, road marking or paint) and part of the light is reflected back to the instrument. A photodetector inside the whiteness meter captures the reflected light and converts it into an electrical signal.
